Michelle Jackson is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate supervised by Treva Barham, LPC-S. She has served as an LPC-Associate in the East Texas area since 2019, previously working in a university community counseling center and a primary through secondary school setting. Michelle works with children (ages 9+), adolescents, and adults in individual, couples, and group counseling. Michelle earned a Master of Arts in Counseling and Bachelor of Science in International Business from LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas.
Michelle understands that life can be overwhelming and full of struggles, and she believes that counseling can be a place to renew hope and cultivate change. She desires to provide her clients a compassionate place to work towards well-being and to find the change, healing, and growth they are looking for. She comes alongside her clients to utilize their strengths and find strategies that will work for them. Approaching counseling from a whole-person wellness perspective she encourages her clients to consider all aspects of their life when it comes to their well-being. Michelle supports her own well-being through a love of time spent with family and friends, being outdoors, kayaking, and enjoying good food.
